The magazine of Islamic Tourism and the interaction of civilizations

The magazine of Islamic Tourism aims at presenting the richness and diversity of tourism assets in the Islamic world, and the value of its civilizational heritage. In addition, it seeks to publish studies and research on tourism in Islamic and other countries.
The overall aim will be to develop and promote tourism and economic and cultural activities among Islamic countries on the one hand, and between Islamic countries and the rest of the world on the other.
We hope that this initiative will help promote the crucial interaction between the world's civilizations, especially within Arab and Islamic countries. Such mutuality will prosper the cultural, economical, and tourist movements in these countries, and strengthen bonds between Islamic communities in different countries - in particular within Europe, the
United States, and Canada. This will help raise these diaspora Muslims’ awareness of the archaeological and other heritage treasures of their countries of origin.
The publication of this magazine in English and Arabic, its distribution in several countries, and its own website - http://www.islamictourism - have given it an international dimension - a goal that the editorial team has sought to achieve from the outset.
In spite of the deterioration of tourism in recent months in many countries, and certain challenges so far encountered on the path to publication, the publisher’s determination has
not diminished. The magazine continues its mission to achieve its aims.
We hope for the co-operation of all Islamic countries in offering the best in this field, and showing forth to the world’s peoples the luminous accomplishments of Islamic civilization. God will always guide us in the right path.
