Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has recently sponsored the Qatar based All Filipino Tenpin Club’s (AFTC) Second Season League matches, as well as the club’s participation in the 14th GCC Bowling Tournament to be held in Dubai, UAE, in September 2011.
The opening game of the second league matches were held at the Qatar Bowling Center (QBC), Doha, in the presence of Mr. Wael Mattar, Gulf Air Commercial Manager and other colleagues and fans.
“Gulf Air is pleased to support the AFTC, the oldest Filipino bowling club in Qatar established in 1989 that has been very active over the years,” commented Mr. Mattar.
“Gulf Air has been flying to the Philippines via Bahrain for several years now enabling the Filipino community in the region including Qatar to travel to their home country. With 10 convenient flights daily between Doha and Bahrain, residents in Qatar can seamlessly connect to their destinations with the shortest possible waiting time in Bahrain.”
Gulf Air will be offering special discount tickets for the club members to travel and take part in various tournaments of the Second Season League matches as well as in the forthcoming 14th GCC Bowling Tournament to be held in Dubai, UAE, in September 2011.
AFTC Chairman Jun Bunda, commented, “We are very thankful to Gulf Air for the sponsorship that has been a great boost to our Club’s activities.
