Manama, 6th September 2011: The newest addition to Europe's oldest luxury hotel brand, Kempinski, introduces the Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre with the launch of its Kempinski Grand Hotel, scheduled to officially open on September 7th. The new 5-star deluxe property in the city's fashionable Seef district boasts two unique hotel towers, the Grand and the Ixir, both very different in style and each offering a blend of traditional elegance with contemporary luxury. The second hotel tower, Kempinski Ixir Hotel will soon start welcoming its guests early in October 2011.

The lavish city centre hotel with 460 luxurious rooms including 79 suites, including a range of corporate and luxury facilities and landscaped terraced pool, together with 8 unique restaurants and bars, is located in the heart of Manama adjoined to the Bahrain City Centre mall, which features a cosmopolitan shoppers' paradise with 340 retailers including luxury and designer brands and a wide range of entertainment facilities, including a 20 screen cinema, Wahoo! waterpark and a children's Magic Planet - all under one roof.
