On-line registrations are open. Hosted buyers are now welcome to join a selected group of meeting planners to visit Conventa from 18th to 19th January 2012, in Ljubljana. By creating tailor-made hosted buyer programme, Conventa ensures hosted buyers will make the most of their visit at the trade show. They will have a unique opportunity to get to know the region of South East Europe and find something new and different to offer to their clients.
Hosted buyers are in good hands when visiting Conventa. The hosted buyer programme includes a complimentary economy return air ticket from selected destinations within Europe to Ljubljana on Adria Airways flights, overnight accommodation, airport and other transfers, meals, networking opportunities, personal itinerary of appointments and the Conventa support team before and during the show.
Hosted buyers will also have a chance to attend FAM trips to exciting destinations: charming Slovenian capital - Ljubljana, the European capital of culture in 2012 - Maribor, Alpine pearl - Lake Bled, Touch of the Mediterranean - Portorož, Croatian capital - Zagreb, Pearls of Kvarner Bay - Opatija and Rijeka and smallest and the youngest European country - Montenegro. Moreover, they will be able to expand their professional knowledge by listening to cutting edge lectures, organized as a part of Conventa’s educational programme.
More than 300 European hosted buyers are to be selected based on the strict criteria to attend the trade show. They will first have a chance to make contact with the selected meeting suppliers through the on-line system where they will be able to organize pre-scheduled meetings. Around 3.800 prescheduled meetings with 140 exhibitors from the region of South East Europe are to be expected. Based on the past experiences of hosted buyers, personal meetings at Conventa have proven to be very successful, bringing new and strengthening existing business partnerships. Odile Gallois from Helmsbriscoe said: "I was able in a short period of time to meet with a lot of good suppliers of the South East European region."
Face-to-face meetings are also preferred by the exhibitors at Conventa. "Meetings are done by real people, therefore it is of outmost importance to get to know who you are working with in person; Conventa was the best opportunity so far this year!" explained Katja Vampl from Terme Maribor.
