Six Senses Zighy Bay, the luxury eco-retreat in Oman and winner of two World Travel Awards are running a summer promotion in which GCC residents can stay two nights for the price of one with children under 12 staying for free.
The resort scooped awards for the ‘Middle East’s Leading Luxury Beach Resort’ and ‘Oman’s Leading Resort’ at the Grand Final of the World Travel Awards – also known as the travel industry ’Oscars’ – earlier this month. Prizes are awarded based on the result of a global survey of 183,000 professionals in the travel and tourism industry.
Since it opened in November 2008, Six Senses Zighy Bay has been recognised in some of the travel industry’s most respected arenas, particularly when it won ‘The World’s Leading New Resort’ in the World Travel Awards 2009.
Rochelle Kilgariff, General Manager of Six Senses Zighy Bay, said of the promotion:
“One of the main reasons Zighy Bay is such an idyllic place to unwind is because of the strong community atmosphere fostered through close links with the local village. We’d like to extend that philosophy to include our wider neighbours in the Middle East, which is why we’re offering GCC residents the chance to stay effectively for half price. With summer bearing down upon us, why not escape the heat of the city at Oman’s best hideaway?”
This offer is valid from April 2010 – 31 August 2010 and is subject to terms and conditions. Applicable for new bookings only and not available in conjunction with any other offers or for the Private Reserve & Retreat. Contact Reservations for more details and quote ‘GCC residents’ when booking.
