www.chnpress.com/ The International Tourism Company of “Ganjineh Banader” will organize touring tours around Tehran with tourism buses. The inauguration of this tour was held in front of Tehran’s Olympic Hotel with presence of activists in tourism industry and authorities of Iran’s Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization.
A number of transportations companies, Tyduater Company, Tehran’s police department, Tehran’s municipality and Iran’s Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization (ICHTO), have supported Ganjineh Banader Company for performing this project.
Regarding the future programs of Ganjineh Banader Company, Gholami, general director of this company explained that a number of facility services including launching 24-hour tourism phone services for giving information, developing civil and marine tourism, and establishing advertising sites are among the projects of this company which would come into force in a near future.
“We believe that the best way for familiarizing people with tourism is promoting urban tourism. Therefore, we have launched the first touring bus for giving tour around Tehran and people who are interested in these tours can enroll to take part the tours,” said Gholami.
Considering the high tourism potentials of Tehran city and its variety attractions, organizing night tours, religion tours, handicraft tours, and flower and plants tours would be the other programs for boosting Tehran’s tourism.
“After planning for 205 tourism path, now we are thinking about creating 1000 tourism paths through out the country,” said Hamzehzadeh.
According to Hamzehzadeh, who is working with Ganjineh Banader Company, one of the main aims during this year is to hold specialized tours by organizing special tours for students, marine tours, special tours for women and city tours.
Pointing out that Tehran enjoys the potential for fulfilling the expectations of its tourists with having different tourism attractions including religious places, historical sites, ecotourism, sport tourism and even nomad tourism, Akbar Qamkhar, chairman of board of directors of Tehran’s traveling and tourism union said: “By bringing these potentials into use, Tehran could be turned into one of the most important tourism destinations for domestic and foreign tourists.” |
