Assist The Earthquake Victims

"All Muslims are like one body. If one part hurts, the entire body hurts."
The Holy Prophet (SAW)

The disastrous earthquake that hit Kashmir on Saturday 8 Oct 2005 has
destroyed thousands of lives. Over 50,000 are feared dead, with at least 70,000
injured and 5 million people in need of assistance.

Islamic Relief (a member of the DEC) is leading the humanitarian operation in
Pakistan-administered Kashmir, helping provide food and shelter to victims of
the disaster. Can you help raise essential funds for Islamic Relief?

Students across London and at King's College in particular have organised two
weeks of events and collections that aim to raise life-saving funds to help the
needy people of Kashmir rebuild their shattered lives.

How You Can Help:

Spare some of your time over the next few days to take part in some of the
collections mentioned on the attached poster. Collectors are especially needed
for the massive collections taking place this weekend (Sat 22nd and Sun 23rd
Oct) all over London.

To Get Involved:

- Email your NAME and TELEPHONE NUMBER to earthquakeappeal@hotmail.co.uk
- Or Call the Hotline on 07971 495 666 and leave your NAME and TELEPHONE NUMBER
on the answerphone.

Someone will contact you and give you all the details on how you can help.

The people affected by this catastrophe are relying on us to help. Lets give
them hope and build a bright future for them together.
