France To Host ECORISMO
www.ecorismo.com The ECORISMO 2008 session, taking place on March 11th and 12th in Arles in France, is being actively prepared these days to make this the major event for the hospitality and tourism industries committing themselves actively to environment protection and sustainability. A good progression of visitors is expected as many partnerships have been sealed since last 2007 session. Moreover, Ecorismo has been actively participating in numerous professional congresses and  conferences around France and abroad. Many professional networks have been activated with awareness heightening. More partnerships are currently being discussed. The number of candidates to exhibit is also increasing by 20% compared to last year. The Ecorismo Selection Committee is validating the application forms according to the actual and real environmental criteria which are put forward by candidates. About 60 new conferences and debates will be held during the two days on l environmental issues.  New events include  "ECORISMO LAURIERS" Trophies, honorific rewards dedicated to highlight the best initiatives on environmental issues being achieved in the tourism and hospitality industries. The 2008 Ecorismo forum and trade-fair will launch the first Ecorismo Lauriers Trophies.
