This is year also, I choose Generator London to stay during my recent visit to attend the WTM. Last year, I was there also and I saw that maintenance are going ahead, now you can see every thing new, the Rooms, Baths and also update for services, I believe that the award reached the correct place.
Generator Hostel London walks away with the Gold Award for budget accommodation of the year at the BT Visit London Awards, 5th November 2009.

Generator London beat stiff competition from hotels and hostels across London to walk away with the highly acclaimed prize.

Since the Generator opened in London over 14 years ago, it has grown to become the largest hostel in the capital and hosts over 280,000 travellers every year.
Visitors enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast, benefit from free bed linen and walking tours as well as a lively bar scene.
