High-speed train to link major South Africa cities

AFP 11 June, 2004 A high-speed train linking Pretoria, the capital of South Africa, to the country’s biggest city, Johannesburg,
will be running by 2009 government officials say. The Gautrain Rapid Rail Link will create 100,000 jobs and provide another means of transportation from Johannesburg International Airport to the center of the city and on to Pretoria to the north. |
