Flights to Nagpur are to operate 3 times a week, on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Sharjah at 22:30 to arrive in Nagpur at 03:20 the next day. Flights from Nagpur to Sharjah operate on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, departing at 04:05 to arrive in Sharjah at 06:20. The operation will also connect major cities around Nagpur to the Middle East as there are good rail and road connections to key cities in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and the rest of Maharashtra.
The chairman added, “We look forward to growing trade and tourism links between UAE and Nagpur and providing the opportunity to the people in and around Nagpur to travel to the UAE for the first time or just more often. We already have passengers on our flight today who are being able to fly directly to their home town for the first time and we will continue to fly to more new destinations to connect more people to the Middle East.”
