www.jonbainestours.co.uk. Jon Baines Tours have introduced a new health care study tour of Japan. This unique new 14-day tour of Japan reveals aspects of Japan not usually available to visitors, as well as experiencing all the major sights of Japan. From Japanese academics and doctors there are talks on Healthcare, Women and the Family, the Legacy of the Bomb, Elderly Care and rituals in use in Japan today. Participants on the tour will experience the stylised rituals of Japan in the onsen and at the tea ceremony, as well as visiting the neon extravagances of Tokyo, the Peace Park and Radiation Institute in Hiroshima, Toyota City in Japans industrial heartland, cruising the inland sea and staying in a traditional town in the Japanese Alps. The group will have the chance to experience a wide variety of Japanese cuisine as every night there is a different meal to try. There will also be the chance to stay in a ryokan, traditional inn.
