Six weeks separate us from the exotic mélange of diverse countries in a unique shake of significant participants! AWTTE 2007 exhibition is a free zone shared by countries, travel professionals, hotels, airlines, media partners, officials and the general public respectively. Lebanon will witness the 4 most active days of December. The Arab World Travel and Tourism Exchange (AWTTE) is an annual travel exhibition organized by the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group in cooperation with Middle East Airlines. This year AWTTE will take place at BIEL Center in Beirut on December 6-9, 2007. This year’s participating exhibitors shape the perfect assortment of distinctive countries: Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, India, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Turkey and UAE (for the first time at AWTTE with Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah tourism authorities in a common stand). Egypt will be the Guest Country at AWTTE 2007. All these national pavilions will be exhibiting with their national airlines, hotels and tour operators. Joining together for 4 days to Lebanon, the hospitable destination, diverse of Mediterranean-lapped coast, rugged alpine peaks, and green fertile valleys packed into a parcel of land. Coco Collection Resorts in the Maldives signed their contract to exhibit at AWTTE for the first time bringing the dream of luxury vacationing in island resorts for honeymooners to reality. Le Royal, Sheraton and InterContinental Hotels will be exhibiting once again at AWTTE with many attractive offers and giveaways. Hotels in Lebanon are also preparing their AWTTE Christmas Special packages that will enhance to the unique experience of visiting Lebanon and AWTTE naming Four Points Sheraton, Le Bristol and Lancaster Hotels. Major trade publication in the Middle East naming TTG – Middle East and North Africa (who will be producing the Official Daily news of AWTTE 2007), Trav Talk Middle East (who are featuring special monthly interviews on AWTTE), Travel & Tourism News (TTN), Hospitality News and the Islamic Tourism Magazine has partnered with AWTTE to support Lebanon and promote the hub of lively activities in Lebanon. AWTTE official magazines, Middle East Travel and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal will produce special reports on AWTTE exhibitors, their latest news, offerings and plans. Middle East Travel, the English bi-monthly that caters to travel professionals, will be touring with this report at the major travel exhibitions that will be held during the months of November and December. In addition, this special report will be distributed to its regular subscribers. Middle East Travel and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal are also offering special promotions available only to AWTTE participants. As for international promotions, AWTTE has signed a membership agreement with the World Exhibitions Club (WEC), the club where both organizers and trade professionals can easily and quickly find what they need for successful participation. Not to forget, the media partnership with eTubro News and Travel Wire News and Interglobal PR services to promote AWTTE to international trade visitors. AWTTE’s main purpose this year is to revive the tourism industry in Lebanon. That is why new programs have been initiated to attract all types of tourism companies. One of the programs is Table-Top Exhibiting (provided with a table, 2 chairs with back wall), which is targeted to low budget exhibitors interested to benefit from the privileges of AWTTE exhibitors packages. This program costs US$750 + 10%VAT for international companies. A new representation agreement in Europe has been signed. AWTTE has appointed BML International, a leading marketing and exhibitions representation, as its European representative for 2007. BML will be responsible for direct marketing and sales of AWTTE in the European Union and UK. AWTTE 2007 is widely represented in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey through the regional offices of Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group in Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey and UAE. All information and registration can be done locally through these offices.
