The Turkish company "BIM Inshaat" has already commenced the territory planning and foundation laying for future buildings. About 26 million US dollars has been allocated from the state foreign currency fund for the financing of the construction works and purchasing of animals for the museum.

The biggest part of the museum territory (the total territory is 40 hectares) will be occupied by the zoo which is to meet all modern international standards, including those connected with the wildlife protection legislation.
The project and design stage will be carried out by one of the most competent US companies specializing in this very sphere.
It is planned to provide the Zoo with 2700 animals representing 300 species of the world fauna. Some of them will be kept in open-air cages, whereas the others will be kept in conditions close to natural ones. |
