Hyatt plans makeover of extended-stay hotels

Hyatt Hotels will be upgrading its 54 extended-stay hotels under the Sierra and Summerfield Suites brands and rebranding them as Hyatt House. Hyatt's makeover program focuses on promoting its hotels as social gathering spaces in an effort to advance its position in the extended-stay market. The changes include multiuse kitchen tables in rooms and "great lounges" offering made-to-order breakfast services. |
