The St. Regis Doha is set to be one of the stars of the show at this year’s Arabian Travel Market, which runs from 2-5 May 2011.
Scheduled to open before the end of 2011, the St. Regis Doha will offer seductive interiors styled in modern opulence, magnificent architecture and incomparable service at the heart of Doha, one of the Gulf region’s most dynamic cities.
The hotel will be one of the first St. Regis Hotels to open in the Middle East and will be “the finest address in Doha” with a host of luxurious features.
Tareq Derbas, General Manager for the St. Regis Doha Hotel, said: “Our aim at this year’s Arabian Travel Market is to provide a stylish introduction to our philosophy of impeccable service and inspired living. Original features like our St. Regis Butler Service ensure that our guests’ preferences are known and that each detail is finessed.
We will provide an entirely bespoke service that will be unlike anything currently offered in Qatar.”
With construction work proceeding apace on the new hotel, this year’s Arabian Travel Market will provide an important opportunity for industry visitors to get a full preview of the exciting new destination. Reaching out into the Gulf, the magnificent structure has already become a major attraction for visitors and an icon of Qatar’s fast-evolving hospitality sector.
The St. Regis Doha will comprise 336 guest rooms including 70 suites and will also offer approximately 5,000 square meters of meeting and conference space, a selection of exciting restaurants, lounges, and the Remede Spa with direct beach access.
The guest rooms and suites will feature the elegance of custom-made furnishings, with silk wall coverings and beautiful antiques to provide personalized yet spacious accommodations.
With a splendid heritage dating back more than 100 years to the grand opening of The St. Regis New York by the esteemed Astor family, the St. Regis brand incorporates rich traditions into every aspect of customer service, from its century-old butler service to the tradition of fresh flowers in every room.
Today St. Regis hotels and resorts can be found across the globe, including landmark hotels in London, New York, Singapore, Bali – and soon Qatar.
“We really believe we are offering a new style of luxury for the Middle East region, and we anticipate an overwhelmingly positive response at this year’s event. Qatar is set to host the latest in a long line of incredible St. Regis Hotels, and we believe that it will be warmly welcomed by connoisseurs and believers in luxury living,” concluded Derbas. |
