DOHA: A slew of renovations are scheduled to be done at the Sheraton Doha, to give facilities to its guests as its a common venue for high profiled events and heads of foreign states.
"We are working in conjunction with Qatar National hotels. We are going to go through some renovations," said Steven Kalczynski (pictured), General Manager, Sheraton Doha.
The hotel will install 75 acres of landscape, with renovating the head of states suite, pool, the Al Shaheen restaurant and many other projects are set to begin in enhancing the standard of the hotel.
"We are going to bring a variety of projects to bring in to back up of being a five plus star hotel," said Kalczynski.
"We host lot of presidents and senior people from around the world, so our heads of states suite are also in plans to be going through renovation, the pool restaurant is going to be expanded and going to be more of a nicer place during the summer as well."
With this upgrading of the hotel Kalczynski also says that the new Convention Centre which is scheduled to open soon near the Education city would make an impact on Sheraton Doha as the centre will be is supposed to hold major events.
"Definitely there will be an impact, but we are going to work very hard to have more conferences within the city as well. But competition is good," said Kalczynski. |
