Casablanca- Nour-eddine SAOUDI
After the success of the Arabic-English bilingual version of Islamic Tourism magazine, the publishers, TCPH Ltd (Technical Consulting & Publishing House), has the pleasure to announce to its readers and advertisers the launching of the Arabic-French edition.
During the past decade the tourist sector has incontestably been one of the most dynamic sectors of the international economy. It is undoubtedly going to develop further. This will enrich national economies, culturally and socially.
Tourism is also a fundamental means of exchange. It brings together people, cultures and civilizations from the four corners of the world. Consequently, this contribution to the development of dialogue between cultures, civilizations and religions can help to promote fundamental human values, such as understanding, tolerance and the respect of the other, and hence, it can play a considerable role in the efforts to establish peace throughout the world.
Taking this as the point of departure, Islamic Tourism magazine has set itself a principal mission to make known the multiple facets, assets and potentials of the tourist sector in Islamic countries and in the regions with Muslim heritage and civilization. With its long history over several centuries (15 centuries) and with its large geographical extension (three continents: Asia, Africa, Europe), Islamic civilization bequeathed to humanity a large and a prestigious legacy - rich and as varied - but unfortunately, a lot of non Moslems and also some large sections of the Moslems population ignore their own magnificent culture.
Islamic Tourism magazine encourages tourists to see these treasures for themselves and to encourage the establishment of ties of exchange and dialogue between the Moslems and the rest of the world. This should create a lasting hunger for the values of Moslem civilization and religion. Islam is the heralder of values of peace and prosperity for humanity.
We work towards bringing the tourist attractions of the Moslem world to a wider public and to focus more light on the assets of the Moslem world. We also we wish to attract Moslem investors and others to develop tourist activities in these countries and to contribute towards promoting their socioeconomic development. |
