Milano - Motaz Othman
Bit Milano is considered one of the oldest and most important international exhibitions. This is due to the good reputation that Italy, and Milano in particular enjoys , in the field of exhibition organization, as well as the country's many ancient and beautiful cities, such as Rome, Florence, Venice etc.
Despite the large number of tourism exhibitions in the world, they are much of a muchness. But for our magazine, Islamic Tourism, it is important to attend most of these exhibitions. The magazine is international and bilingual, Arabic and English, and therefore unique and distinguished. It is distributed in Europe, Canada, the Middle East, and a number of Asian and African countries. It also covers most of the world through the pages of its website. That is why we attend most major tourism exhibitions.
During this exhibition, I met the minister of tourism in Libya who invited us to visit his country and promised to support our magazine in every way. Libya participated in this exhibition for the first time and had one of the largest stands.
We also visited the stands of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, which are working hard to attract Italian tourists as Italy is virtually on their doorstep.
Egypt has the biggest Arab stand. The Egyptians in charge of the stand said they preferred Italian tourists.
Qatar's stand was one of the most distinguished. We meet Mr. Bassim al-Tirqawi the director of International Relations in the Qatar Tourism Board. He invited us to the cultural festival to be held in Qatar this March.
We distributed copies of Islamic Tourism to most of the stands and introduced our website to the participants in this distinguished exhibition.
