Tourism Co-operation Between Turkey And Tunisia

www.turkishpress.com Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Atilla Koc and Tunisian Culture Minister Tijani Haddad signed a protocol aiming to boost cooperation in the tourism sector between the two countries during the 8th term meeting of Turkish-Tunisian Tourism Joint Commission in Ankara.
Taking the floor in the meeting, Koc said that Turkish and Tunisian authorities would discuss the ways of increasing the number of tourists visiting Turkey and Tunisia as well as international tourism fairs held in both countries.
Koc underlined, "new trends and demands in the world tourism sector necessitate new arrangements in strategies and policies that have been pursued so far."
Stating that his ministry has been working to attract more foreign capital to Turkey, Koc remarked that they also focused on alternative tourism branches including thermal tourism, congress tourism, winter tourism and culture tourism.
On the other hand, Haddad said that relations between Turkey and Tunisia could be boosted through more cooperation in the tourism sector. |
