Large Archeological Museum For Sivas

New Anatolian: The largest archeological museum of Central Anatolia will be erected in Sivas.
With the opening of the largest archeology museum of Central Anatolia, 5730 coins and 2357 artifacts which have been dept in depots of Ataturk Congress and Ethnographic museum so far, will be brought into light.
Sivas Governorship has renovated and converted the historic building in the garden of the Industry and Professional High School that was built in 1902, into a museum.
The museum that will be built in a 5,965 square meters area is expected to be openend in 2008.
As well as artifacts recovered from the archeological sites in Sarissa and Kayalipinar, a large number of coins and statues are due to go on display in this museum.
