The art institute of Washington's Meridian International Center is hosting works from the print artist Suleyman Saim Tekcan, with works from artists who have been educated in his workshop since the 1940s.
More than 70 works with a variety of styles and content were on display in the White-Meyer Art Gallery, which belongs to the Meridian International Center. Turkey's Washington ambassador Faruk Logoglu participated in the opening of the exhibition, which runs until January 25, 2005. Titled "Anatolian Observations", the show features work from Avni Arbas, Semih Balcioglu, Filiz Basaran, Nurullah Berk, Cihat Burak, Ergin Inan, Gulsun Karamustafa, Mustafa Pilevneli and Turhan Selcuk. |
