New Tourism Requirements To Enter Libya

www.maltamedia.com Air Malta informed its customers travelling on its services to Tripoli and Benghazi with the new regulations issued by the Libyan Authorities, concerning travel formalities in order to enter the Libyan Territory for tourism purposes. As from the 7th of January, passengers travelling to Libya are required to possess a minimum of USD 1000 or its equivalent in transferable foreign currency. This shall be applicable to all persons whether individuals or in the form of tourist groups through companies and / or partnerships. This is also applicable to all nationalities which are exempt from the condition to obtain a prior-entry visa.
