BD Global: Metropolitan Workshop has unveiled the first images of its competition-winning design for the Museum of Conflict in Tripoli, which will tell the story of Libya's military history.
The design for the 15,000sq m building takes its form from Bedouin tents and also reflects the local desert landscape, according to project architect Marco Neskovic. A lightweight camouflage veil draped over the structure will shade exhibits.
Gallery spaces divide exhibits into machines of war, rebellion and revolution.
Neskovic said: " We were influenced by the landscape of dunes, army camouflage nets and local traditional structures."
