International Conference on Tourism and Travel (SITEV 2005)


 

The 7th of SITEV will be held between the 16th and 19th May 2005 at the Palace of Expositions in Algiers under the theme أ‚آ«Tourism development role in the process of reconciliation and tolerance between cultures أ‚آ». 

 

SITEV 2005 is specially important this year because it will be held under the patronage of the President of the Republic Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika. It will also be held favorable circumstances for tourism in Algeria, characterized by a very important return of the international tourism flux towards Algeria.

 

On this occasion, the Minister of Tourism Mr. Mohamed Seghir Kara prepared a program of organized activities that is very rich and diversified which will allow guests to discover the different aspects of the potential of tourism and cultural in Algeria. 

 

The Ministry of tourism invited our magazine to attend the event. The publisher, Mr. Shakiry, will represent the magazine. We will present a full coverage of SITEV through our weekly news bulletins, in Arabic, English, French and Spanish, as well as through our bimonthly magazine, Islamic tourism which is published in all these languages.

 

 

It is worth mentioning that the last SITEV 2004 witnessed the participation of 52 foreign countries, including twenty European, ten from the Arab world, eleven  from Africa, seven from Asia, four of north and Latin Americas. It was also attended by the Lebanese Minister for Tourism, Mr. Ali Hassan Abdellah, and members of the government and diplomatic corps accredited in Algiers.

 

More than 200 journalists representing the differing national media and foreigners also attended.

 

Here is the general program of SITEV 2005:

 

  • May 16 2005: official Opening. 
  • May 17 2005: study Day on the theme of أ‚آ« Tourism development role in the process of reconciliation and tolerance between cultures أ‚آ». 
  • May 18 2005: Work Shop on the theme أ‚آ« growth and development tourist أ‚آ». 
  • May 18-19 2005: A special tour to discover the seaside.
