A slew of major awards throughout 2011 has highlighted the fact that regional travellers continue to name Hyatt Hotels as their preferred hotel for business and leisure activities.
Several leading properties within the region have received top awards for distinguished food and beverage offerings, exemplary business facilities, and indulgent spa destinations, among other achievements.
“Hyatt takes great pride in receiving these outstanding awards, especially when we have been nominated by our guests,” said Kapil Aggarwal, Director of Sales and Marketing, Hyatt International South West Asia
“Out of the thousands of hotels in the region, Hyatt is pleased to continue to be the destination of choice for world travellers whether they are looking for business or resort destinations,,” he added.
Hyatt properties are renowned for their exemplary business facilities and the Park Hyatt Jeddah Marina, Club and Spa was awarded the Best Business Hotel in Jeddah at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards, voted by readers of the magazine. Park Hyatt Jeddah is an innovative five-star sanctuary where contemporary luxury and exceptional service meets unrivalled views of the Red Sea and King Fahd fountain. The hotel enjoys a prime location in the very heart of the city, within the esteemed Al Hamra District at the Equestrian Club of Jeddah, and is just minutes away from the central business district. Grand Hyatt Dubai, meanwhile, was awarded Best Overseas Business Hotel for Indian travellers in the Conde Nast Traveller Reader’s Travel Awards. The hotel, a modern and luxurious property in the Bur Dubai district that towers majestically the edge of Dubai's historic creek, is an outstanding combination of resort facilities, hotel rooms and suites, residential apartments and one of the most advanced conference and business hotels in the United Arab Emirates with over 4340 square metres of meeting space.
Hyatt’s food and beverage offerings were also highly acclaimed, with Grand Hyatt Doha, Isaan, winning Best South East Asia Restaurant at the Time Out Restaurant Awards. Isaan, named after the northeast region of Thailand where cuisine is considered traditional and indigenous, is a contemporary and stylish venue serving exquisite traditional Thai dishes using authentic ingredients. Two of the hotel’s other venues, Rocca and The Grill, were highly recommended in the Best Contemporary European Restaurant and Best Brunch categories respectively. Furthermore, Park Hyatt Dubai’s Traiteur was awarded Time Out Dubai’s Restaurant of the Year award for Best Brunch for the second consecutive year, with Executive Sous Chef Frank Detrait awarded Chef of the Year as part of What’s on 2011’s Reader’s Choice Award.
In addition to the tantalising cuisine offerings, Hyatt is also known for the indulgent spa facilities that its properties boast. Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa won the Best Destination Spa in India in the Conde Nast Traveller Reader’s Travel Awards, for Sereno Spa, a complete wellness destination with unique therapies inspired by the exotic Ayurvedic and Yogic customs of the region. The personalized treatment packages and fitness programs are designed to promote wellness, detoxification and serenity for travellers seeking the ultimate relaxation destination.
Hyatt hotels within the region were also celebrated for their overall guest experiences. Park Hyatt Dubai was recently named Conde Nast Traveller’s Reader’s Choice Award for Best Hotel in the Middle East for the second time. Opened in 2005, it continues to offer unparalleled elegance at its waterfront location, adjacent to the world-famous Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. The delivery of luxurious and contemporary hospitality at Park Hyatt Dubai matches that of the most renowned Park Hyatt properties around the world – such as Park Hyatt Tokyo, which features heavily in the film ‘Lost in Translation’ and Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, recently awarded a five-star classification as one of the eight official palace hotels in France. Grand Hyatt Dubai also made the list of the Top 15 City Hotels in Africa and the Middle East by Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards Readers’ Survey 2011. Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa took the number three position in the Best Leisure Hotels category in India for the Conde Nast Traveller Readers Travel Awards. |
