Hyatt Hotels International has expanded its presence in the Gulf, recruiting new World Wide Sales office representatives on the ground to cater to growing demand for a local presence in the Kingdom.
Hyatt’s increasing presence comes ahead of imminent announcements expected for new hotels in the country, demonstrating Hyatt’s commitment to the country and allowing the new team members to provide a physical presence to customers for both inbound and outbound sales.
“Providing the Saudi market with the much-needed local presence is a significant milestone for Hyatt, as we are keen to provide the infrastructure to support the in-person relationships that the country calls for,” said Thierry Bertin, Vice President of World Wide Sales – South West Asia, Hyatt International.
The newly appointed Director of World Wide Sales for Saudi Arabia, Anas Abdullah, is poised to further consolidate Hyatt’s growing brand recognition and presence in the country.
The Gulf region is a priority for Hyatt, with Tareq Daoud named Area Director of World Wide Sales – GCC in May last year, aiming to execute Hyatt’s growth strategy in the GCC – an important region for the global expansion of the Hyatt brand. The World Wide Sales office also grew in Dubai simultaneously, allowing Hyatt to continue to reinforce its links and increase its distribution network across the GCC with a focused and dedicated team.
Since November 2011 Hyatt Hotels has opened two new hotels in the UAE capital alone – Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas on Saadiyat Island, and Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi. |
