Underscores Success of Innovative Summer Promotion and Influx of Tourists from GCC A commitment to quality service has translated into high occupancy rates for Ramada Sharjah during its first summer, following the hotel's launch earlier this year. July's average occupancy is expected to be at around 80% per cent by the end of this month, which is significantly higher than the average the region has seen in the last 2 years.
The hotel offered competitive room rates this summer, in addition to the fantastic 'Shop, Stay and Save' promotion, where each guest who booked via the Ramada website was given an AED 100 shopping voucher that could be used at any one of the various retails stores at Sahara Center, Sharjah's largest and most popular shopping mall. The promotion was very successful, attracting between 130 and 150 room night bookings within a couple of weeks.
The staff at Ramada Sharjah is eagerly awaiting the holy month of Ramadan so they can roll out their F&B deals for the traditional Suhour and Iftar.
"We have had a steady influx of guests, most of whom visit from within the GCC, especially Saudi Arabia and Kuwait," said Tamas Fazekas, General Manager, Ramada Sharjah. "Even though we have only been in operation for a few months, we have attracted a good number of long-term and corporate guests and we can attribute this success to our service, which is always the highest priority.
"We have made our place in the market and will continue to provide the best possible experience that our guests can expect, whether they come to stay with us during a business visit or a holiday, or if they choose to join us for a fine meal."
Conveniently located in Sharjah on Al Nahda street, opposite the ever popular Sahara Centre, the 250-suite hotel (50 one-bedroom and 200 two-bedroom) is designed with the discerning traveller in mind, with state-of-the-art facilities such as high-speed internet access, a fully-equipped business centre, two meeting rooms, a pool and health club, the 'Jasmine' coffee shop and 'Zaafaran', a fabulous restaurant serving the finest international cuisine.
The hotel's central location and easy connectivity to major roads and highways, puts all of Dubai and Sharjah's main attractions and major leisure nerve centres - Sahara Centre, Sharjah Lagoon and Corniche, Deira City Centre and Dubai International Airport within easy reach.
All of Ramada Sharjah's rooms have been tastefully designed and decorated to ensure that guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. In-room facilities include flat-screen TV, high-speed internet access, safety deposit box, room service, tea and coffee making facilities, a fully-equipped kitchen including washing machine.
In order to unwind, guests can cross the road to visit the region's most popular shopping destination, Sahara Centre, or have a work out at the health club before taking a dip in the heated indoor pool. |
