Dear Business and Media Partners,
History changes - the beauty of Egypt is eternal. Egypt is the country of peaceful revolution, which inspires the world and where the sense of energy and uprise is in the air. Egypt is the land which served as stage for an online revolution and the home of the people who lead their famous hospitality into a new era. In Egypt, there are places like Tahrir, the square that rocked the globe. Egypt „where ist all begins“ proudly welcomes you at the ITB 2011.
This is the essence we are communicating in our new campaign: peaceful change, security and hospitality, a cheerful sense of new beginning and vigour that can specifically be felt in times like these, as well as the pride of the current events. Egypt has always been a fascinating travel destination. Following the tradition of our great Pharaos, we are making history again.
The number of 1,33 million German visitors to Egypt in the year of 2010 means an increase by 10.5% and thus exceeds the targeted growth. Again, this proves the importance of the German market for our manifold destination where history is alive and the future begins.
