Award Winning Zara Spa is coming to the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba

Zara Spa at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba will be opening its doors on 5 July 2010. It will be following in the footsteps of Zara Spa at the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea, which was ranked #1 for 2009 Destination Spas category by Condé Nast. The opening of Zara Spa in Aqaba will mark the second opening of a full fledge stand alone Spa to be managed by the Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts.
Zara Spa will offer an extensive menu of treatments that promise to include a combination of traditional and state of the art techniques. All of these treatments adhere to the philosophy of Zara Spa in using natural and local ingredients reflecting the culture and natural environment of Jordan.

The spa will cover an area of 1,200 SqM that includes 11 different types of treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room, and a whirlpool with skylight. The spa will also introduce the first of its kind in Jordan “experience showers”, a uniquely designed shower that incorporates coloured lighting and custom fragrance. Moreover, it boasts an invigorating ice fountain to stimulate circulation and tighten the skin. Another first for Jordan will be the amazing tranquillity area that is designed with the guest’s comfort and relaxation in mind. There will be a Spa shop, a beauty salon, and a nail studio catering to varying needs of its guests.

Zara Spa at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba is open to hotel guests as well as to the general public.
“The highly anticipated opening of the Zara Spa is a vital component of the resort experience offering guests, both leisure and business, a truly authentic experience” said Hubert Klemenz, General Manager Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba. “And in an effort to make the guest’s stay as comfortable as possible we are operating a regular shuttle bus service between the resort and Aqaba city”

The Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba is situated in Tala Bay, an exclusive residential community on the southern shores of the Red Sea. The resort is located 15 minutes away from the city centre of Aqaba, 20 minutes away from King Hussein International Airport and one hour away from the historical Petra and breathtaking desert of Wadi Rum.
