The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) participated at the Arabian Travel Market 2007, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from Tuesday, May 01, 2007 till Friday, May 04, 2007.
With a new innovative design, the stall is located at Hall 5, booth EU528. Together with 29 other German partners such as local tourism offices like Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, tour operators and diverse hotel partners the tourism board provides latest products and services offered by the German travel industry. Further its an ideal platform to make new contacts with the local tourism industry and strengthen the existing ones.
Mrs. Heike Murad, GCC Manager States, GNTB said, “This is the 14th participation of the German National Tourist Board in the ATM 2007 and we are proud to join hands with all our other German partners to enhance the positive image of Germany as a travel destination. Germany is a hospitable country with a high level of service commitment and so much to offer as a way of enjoyment and things of beauty. Its unique mixture of breath taking landscapes, cosmopolitan cities or medieval town or countless theme parks everybody can enjoy unforgettable holidays in our country.”
This year the GNTB puts the spotlight on "Art and Culture in Germany" because various cultural attractions in German cities and regions await travellers from all over the world. In more than 500 galleries and over 6,000 museums throughout Germany you can learn a lot about Germany’s art and culture. Or a sea of castles once watched proudly over the many princedoms and dukedoms and today, hundreds of them remain – either painstakingly restored or diligently maintained – their open doors beckoning you for a glance into German’s regal past. Walk through the courtyards and chambers, see the surroundings from atop the high towers, and, if you would like to spend the night and feel like a prince or princess, all this is available.
Heike Murad further added “The best way to discover a country is actually renting a car and let you drift through the landscapes and regions. So take the opportunity to explore Germany under your own steam. All the top destinations are quickly and easily accessible via modern motorways and an extensive network of secondary roads. Drive Germany and just sit back and enjoy the ride.” |
