Eligibility .The pass is only applicable to overseas' visitors travelling to Malaysia. The Pass is issued in conjunction with international travel, with at least one international sector on Malaysia Airlines' services, into and/or out of Malaysia.
For the purpose of this clause:
The international sector on Malaysia Airlines' services does not include the Malaysia-Singapore vice versa and Malaysia-Brunei vice versa sectors. The ticket for the international sector on Malaysia Airlines' services has to be issued on Malaysia Airlines' document only. The Pass is not applicable to passengers residing in Malaysia, Singapore or Brunei.
Fares
Adult fare for travel up to a maximum of 3 flight coupons within Malaysia: USD 199 or local equivalent based on the applicable Banker's Selling Rate. Children between 2 to 12 years old: 75% of the applicable adult fare.Infant less than 2 years old and not occupying a seat: 10% of normal fare.
Class of Travel
Travel is applicable only for Economy Class of Malaysia Airlines' domestic services.
Validity. The Pass is available from 1 January 2009 to 30 June 2009. The Pass is valid for 28 days from the date of commencement of travel. However, all travel must be completed before 30 June 2009. Extension of the validity period is not permitted.
Routings/Reroutings
Travel may originate or terminate at any Malaysia Airlines' destinations in Malaysia. The same sector cannot be used more than once, except for the purpose of making an immediate flight connection. For flights between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah/Sarawak, travel across the South China Sea can only be undertaken once in the same direction. For example, when a journey like Kuala Lumpur - Kota Kinabalu - Kuala Lumpur has been undertaken, the Pass is not applicable for another trip between Peninsula Malaysia and Sabah/Sarawak. For the purpose of coupon count, a stop over/transit point is counted as one. For example, for a flight itinerary Penang - Kuala Lumpur - Johor Bahru where Kuala Lumpur is used as a transit point, the number of coupons to be counted is two. Rerouting is permitted at USD 25 per change, and to be facilitated at Malaysia Airlines' offices only.
Reservations/Ticketing
The Pass may be purchased from any Malaysia Airlines' office or an authorised travel agent before departure. The Pass may be purchased upon arrival in Malaysia. However, this has to be purchased within 14 days of arrival and at Malaysia Airlines' offices only.
Refunds
A refund can be made for a completely unused Pass, subject to an administrative fee of USD 25.
No refund will be made for a partially utilised Pass.
