Preparations for the upcoming China Guilin International Tourism Expo (CGITE) 2012 are in full swing as the third edition event draws closer, taking place in barely six weeks’ time.
To be held at the Guilin International Conference & Exhibition Centre, CGITE 2012 is projected to attract some 820 exhibitors comprising National Tourist Organizations, travel agencies, airlines and hoteliers from 65 countries; and some 25,000 trade and public visitors over a span of three days, from 6 – 8 September.
With the right business formula in place, CGITE 2012 offers exhibitors and trade buyers with the ideal solutions to cater to the increasing demands of the tourism and travel industry in Guangxi and the provinces in southern China.
Since its debut in September 2010, the CGITE series has seen a remarkable progress and this has set a new track record for Guilin’s convention and exhibition industry.
On the same note, Mr. Edward Liu, Managing Director of Conference & Exhibition Management Services, the organizer, shares, “The CGITE series has successfully positioned itself as the most established business and leisure tourism tradeshow within the Guangxi province and the southern region of China. A humble beginning with only 80 exhibitors back then, CGITE 2012 has indeed grown in leaps and bounds, with some 820 key industry players expected to congregate under-one-roof!”
“Paving the route to international success and propelling the exposition to greater heights has always been and remains one of the primary objectives of the organizers.
2012’s theme – Connecting the World sets the direction for us to move towards the international stage, and it is my wish to see CGITE as a magnet that draws an international assembly of not just exhibitors, but trade buyers and media in the years ahead”, added Mr. Liu.
CGITE 2012 is organized by The People’s Government of Guilin, China Guangxi Tourism Administration and Guangxi International Expositions Bureau; Co-organized by Conference & Exhibition Management Services, Guilin Convention & Exhibition Bureau and Guilin Municipal Tourism Bureau.
